This project is a planned port of the Ace3 framework from WoW to WAR.
Currently, AceAddon, AceLocale, and AceTimer should be functional for WAR. Ports of the other libraries may occur at future points in time.

Aiiane Nov 13, 2008 at 10:07 UTC - 0 likesMost of the libraries are at least somewhat functional. The remainder are mostly ones that either can't be ported over, or aren't easy to port. Some of the latter might be ported with time, I can't really say for sure.

Flisher Sep 30, 2008 at 10:09 UTC - 0 likes@Aiiane: Sorry for indirectly putting pressure on ya for this LibStub and Ace-Locale :-P
Is there a way to autoupdate file in our svn working directory from th Ace SVN?
ie: Instead of copying LibStub.lua and AceLocale, it autoupdate from Ace SVN to my addons.

Aiiane Sep 30, 2008 at 03:53 UTC - 0 likesI've gone ahead and tagged WAR-3.0.1, it includes what should be functional versions of AceAddon-3.0 and AceLocale-3.0 (note that when fetching them via LibStub, you will need to use "WAR-AceAddon-3.0" and "WAR-AceLocale-3.0").
AceAddon-3.0 is designed and required to be standalone, AceLocale-3.0 can be embedded simply by including LibStub.lua and AceLocale-3.0.lua in your addon's .mod file.

instant Sep 13, 2008 at 22:27 UTC - 0 likesCant wait :-) Already working on converting my WoW addons to WAR. Love the fact that both use LUA --- wish some other recently released MMOs used the same.
Edit: With R2 can we start attempting to use ACE3 for our addons or still too early to ACE them?
