1 - slash library
I know a lot of people use LibSlash but perhaps if Ace3 had this it would be a good introduction to using Ace3 libs. I know I'd switch to it. I loved Ace in WoW and thing it's something that could do a world of good for War.
Also might consider:
Timer lib (functions that fire a function after a timer expires)
Window management, input options (radio buttons, text input, tabs, drop downs)
