1 - alt+tab issues.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. alt+tab out of WAR while an item queue is pending produces inconsistent results in bulk mail sending. Sometimes it pauses, sometimes it produces a message in the Mail Window that states "attached item cannot be mailed" regardless of queued item type / binding.

On one occasion, this stalled the operation of the bulk mailer to a point where restarting the client did not restart normal operation of the addon. Clicking the Cancel button seemed to remedy the problem. Similarly, disabling the addon from within the game and then re-enabling it had no effect on restoring normal usage.

I would assume that running the game in windowed mode would not produce a variance in how the game functions, but this could just be the way that things work when the game is not minimized but another windowed, not maximized, program is active other than the game client.

I don't know that it is an alt-tab issue specifically. On our server, the mail system is so slow that the operations do not complete within the window of opportunity provided. It seems that if the next mail attempts to send, and fails due to "Server is busy processing your current request", when the next attempt is made -which fails- and the server responds with "Mail sent successfully" the queue stops.
My suggestion would be to come up with some kind of positive latching system, like wait for and trap the mail events rather than blind-timing it.

Hey ho wobin. I'm reworking the timing system so hopefully this problem should be fixed after :) Just give me a little while as its somewhat busy work wise atm. I am coding, just slower :(

I have this problem, and it's not alt-tab that's the issue, it's that we're not onscreen to see it say "Server is processing your current request" and then BIM will stop. The message then gets replaced with "Mail sent successfully" but BIM doesn't continue.
If possible, could BIM wait a short while and then try starting the queue again? That probably would solve this problem

I'm finding it hard to reproduce the problem.

I'm in full screen.
Queued up 10 items
Started the send then Alt+Tabbed.
Went back into the game after awhile and all seemed fine.

How many times have you tried this and does it happen everytime you alt+tab out of the game?

Are you using the US 1.01 version? How many items are you sending?
