BuffBegoneUltra
Change log
BuffBegoneUltra 1.0:
This is the ONLY release of this project by BotanicalPuppet. You should adopt this project if you would like to see more changes, as it has been abandoned by BotanicalPuppet. The original coder will continue to patch in the mainlines releases of this and other addons into "Begone, Begone!" as they are updated by others.
Known caveats
BuffBegoneUltra 1.0:
Does not work with addons that depend on the default bufftracker windows being drawn by the default API for doing such.

GENERIC CAVEAT ON WARHAMMER ADDONS
Before installing addons:
1. Patch your Warhammer to the latest release and ensure you
can play without issues.
2. Make sure that your usersettings.xml file in the "user"
directory is appropriate to what you want; in particular, make
sure that the addons folder is correct and that the custom UI
toggle is set to false. See other FAQs if you need information
on this.
3. If you are having problems, it is probably not your war.exe
but rather your files in your user folder. Move "user" to
"user-backup-DATE" where DATE is the current date. War.exe will
generate a default user folder that will run the game.
To tell if an addon works:
1. Uninstall all addons by moving them to a separate folder
(not in <WAR>/Interface/Addons).
2. Install the LATEST version of the addon with the LATEST
version of any dependencies (in Interface/Addons/<LatestMod>).
3. Do a /reloadui or new boot to see if it works.
To install an addon that works:
1. You MUST have a set of addons that are already known to work
together well.
2. Install the addon that works alongside the rest of addons
known to work (that would be in <WAR>/Interface/Addons).
3. Do a /reloadui or new boot to see if the addons work
individually but break due to incompatible ways of modifying
the default UI/API or other issues.
If an addon starts behaving strangely:
You can force a reset of its settings by moving or deleting its
data folder, which is found in the user folder under interface.
A note about warpatch updates:
New releases of war.exe and even hotfixes are known to create
problems for addons written with reference to an older version
of the client. You are encouraged to start testing your addons
for which one is breaking through selective install of one or
more until you can tell that things work fine without but break
with a single particular addon. If that happens, the nice thing
to do is to submit a ticket to the addon's issue tracker or to
contact the project manager some other way.
