39 - add-on not completely removed

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. tried unijstalling through curse client
2. tried removing addon folder in interface/addons
3. tried removing folder in user/interface/allcharacters

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected output is all traces of the addon removed. instead i either have no player frame any more, only the buffs-debuffs. Or all the clean frames are back AFTER i removed it all !

What version of the product are you using?
latest one

Do you have an error log of what happened?
no

Deleting both those directories solved the problem for me, thanks.

Try going to WARDIR\user\interface\allcharacters, and removing both the EA_PlayerStatusWindow and the EA_GroupWindow directories there (again while WAR is not running).

Restoring layout defaults does not work. The outline shows in the editor and can be moved but never displays health/action or the graphic for the profile. It may be related to /resetui? I uninstalled and reinstalled CUFrames and from that point i get the clean units but if I /resetui the party ones disapear again/as well.

I am having the same problem I believe. After removing via curse client and manually removing from both directories: interface/addons user/interface/allcharacters
I can see party buffs and the players name and an orange number. No character profile face or health or action bars.

i tried both methods before, and with no result. The clean unit frame disappears, but the player frame doesnt appear either, only the tooltip when mousing over where it "should" be.

Seems to be an issue with how the client saves settings. Try going into the Layout Editor, right-clicking on the default Player frame, and choosing Show. If that doesn't work, restore the layout to defaults and it should be showing.
