Overview

DuffTimer Filter is a plugin for DuffTimer that allows you to define custom filter sets, which can change what effects DuffTimer shows.

Requirements

You must be using DuffTimer v2.2.0 or later.

Usage

After installing DuffTimer Filter a new button will be placed on the DuffTimer options window in the general tab under advanced options. See the screenshot below. Click on that button to open the DuffTimer Filter window. In the filter window you will need to type in the name of a filter to create, click on new, then select your filter and load it. At that point you may edit the filter to define it's behavior. Once you are satisfied click on save and the filter will be applied to the windows you set under the windows tab.

• There are two types of filters you can apply: flags and names.
• Under the flags tab you can see all of the flags that are defined on effects.
  • You may choose to include any of these flags in your filter, and to either include only those effects that have the flag set to a desired state or exclude all effects that have that flag set to a desired state.
  • You may include any number of flags in your filter, mixing and matching includes and excludes as you please.
  • To pass the filter an effect must meet all of the criteria defined.
• For a name filter you can define it two ways, include or exclude.
  • An include filter will only allow those names that are on the list to pass the filter.
  • An exclude filter will not allow any names that are on the list to pass the filter.
  • Spaces, capitalization, and punctuation are removed from all names.
• A filter may include multiple types of filters, although there's usually no point to doing so.
• After defining the filter you must go to the windows tab and put all DuffTimer windows that you want to use this filter in the windows list.
• If you rearrange the order of your DuffTimer windows, by right clicking on the tabs in the DuffTimer options window, you will need to update the windows list for your filters.
