For some reason or other, the WAR client will occasionally go crazy and start spamming "influence updated" events rapidly (and for no real purpose) after loading a zone. This triggers all of the windows tracking influence to update themselves, which can sometimes lead to interface lag. InfThrottle combats this by putting a cutoff on how often influence is allowed to update, and automatically filtering out the massive event-chains sometimes triggered.
By default, it will look for influence spam occurring more than once per second. If you wish to change this, use the following command:
- /script InfUpdateCutoff = 1.0
Change 1.0 to the cutoff value you desire. However, it should work fine out of the box, and 1 second is the recommended value to catch the large majority of "spam chains" while allowing regular influence updates to be processed normally.
