IS Assist Tracker provides a mechanism to set main/secondary assists and use them with the click of a button. There are four colors. Red, Orange, Yellow, and Blue. Red, Yellow, and Orange all assist the target, while blue aids the target. Assisting a target will target their hostile target. This is typically used to focus a group's dps. Aiding a target will target their friendly target. This is typically used to focus a group's heals.
ISAssistTracker supports full group/warband/scenario communications and coordination. IS Assist Tracker now allows communication of active assist targets, dead assists, etc. The leader can assign assists and distribute those assists to the group. The leader can also assign each assist a target. This can be used during combat, but is intended for organizing a group for a PVE encounter. As each assist does their job of acquiring targets, various indicators will be shown to report status. These indicators can be used to show when an assist is ready for DPS to begin, tell others not to assist them as they need to pull stuff off the healers or find a new target, or that they are dead and don't bother assisting them. All of this can now be done through the UI and free up voice communications for other needs.
ISAssistTracker also provides a panic button that will alert other group/warband/scenario members that you are being attacked. They will be able to select your name from the panic window to assist you. Tanks can double-click the class icon in the panic window to place "Guard" on that player (or just click twice). All classes can click the class icon to target the player.
ISAssistTracker also provides a way to assign symbols to specific targets. If you are the group/warband leader these targets are visible to the entire group. If not, they are only visible to yourself. Be careful not to assign symbols in combat or after you have assigned each assist a target, as they will assist you and change their target automatically to assign the symbol on their screen.
ISAssistTracker requires the LibSlash addon to work.
- Using:
- Using:
- Assigning Symbols: In order to assign a target a symbol, simply select your target and press the desired symbol button. If you would like to clear the symbol, clear your hostile target and press the button again.
- Assisting: In order to assist a player, simply click on that player's assigned slot in the assist tracker window and your target will change to their target. No more messing with assist/aid macros.
- Leader Assigning Assists: Leaders can assign the assist targets for their entire warband/group. This can be disabled/enabled in the options.
- Leader Assigning Targets: Leaders can assign each assist a target. Select the desired target and select "Send Target" in the context menu for that assist.
- Ready Check: Leaders can open the options and select "Ready Check" to perform a ready check. All members that respond as being ready will show up as checked.
- Assigning Assist Target: In order to assign a player to a given assist slot, target that player and select "Reassign/Clear" on the context menu. When you next mouseover that slot you will notice they have been assigned to that slot. You may open the settings window and either type the name or select your preferred target and hit the "+" button to assign them to that slot. You can also use the commands provided below to assign a given assist target.
- Moving/Resizing: The assist window can be moved/resized by using the "Customize Interface" option on your main menu. The minimap button can also be moved/resized in the same manner. The assist commands (searching/found target) can be moved/resized in the same manner.
- Assists Communications: Assists can let their group/warband/scenario know when they are looking for a new target and when they have one by selecting the appropriate button on the command window. An indicator will show up next to that player in the assist tracker. This can be disabled/enabled by choosing "Send/Receive Communications" in the settings. By default, your scenario communications are for just your scenario group. You can enable it for the full scenario chat by selecting "Send Updates to Entire Scenario" in the options. If you disable this, you will not send any notifications and all notification commands will disappear.
- Notifications of Death: Once an assist dies, a skull will appear next to their name. When they rez, the skull will disappear. This can be disabled/enabled by choosing "Send/Receive Communications" in the settings.
- Showing/Hiding Unassigned Assists: Right-Click on the title, "IS Assist Tracker" and select "Show/Hide Empty Assists". You can also open the options screen and select the "Show Empty Assists" button or use the commands provided below.
- Showing/Hiding the Assist Tracker: It can be hidden or shown through the "Customize Interface" by right-clicking on it and selecting "show" or "hide". You can also use the command provided below.
- Showing/Hiding the Title: Open the options screen and select the "Show Title" button or use the commands provided below.
- Key Bindings: All targets can be assisted through keybindings. Assist communications can also be bound to keybindings. In order to do this, you must make a macro. Open up your macro screen and select an empty slot. Enter a meaningful name, like "Assist Red MT" and choose an icon. In the "Macro Text" area type "/script ISAssistTracker.AssistBlueMT()" to assist the blue MT. Save the macro. You can now drag it to your hotbars and use a keybinding for it like you do any ability. See below for the full options of what may be applied to keybindings.

- Known Issues:
- Known Issues:
- Currently there is no way to tell who is the warband leader. I am working on this, but until this glitch is worked out, anyone in a warband can send assist assignments to the warband
- Panics are not filtered to make sure they are for your group/warband/etc.
- Panic window does not prevent duplicate panics if the same player panics a second time within 10 seconds of the first.
- Roadmap:
- Roadmap:
- Allow vertical or horizontal display of assist list
- Allow option to grow right or left when assists are added
- Allow use of a private channel for assist coordination, rather than the default warband, group, and scenario channels.

Romple Thu, 25 Sep 2008 03:33:40Is there a registered slash command so i CAN make a macro?
Something like /isat AssistRedMT() would assist your Red MT, so I can make a macro key for it.
I'm not a clicker so having to click to assist is just opposite to how I play.

DerSocram Wed, 24 Sep 2008 09:21:13It would be very nice to be able to hide seven of those Assist Targets... one is really enough in most RvR situations, but in the actual version it just takes away too much space for me.
