planb

PlanB (Planned Balance!) - A mod for Swordmasters and Black Orcs that switches the main hotbar page based on plan/balance state. You must have LibSlash to use this mod.

Objective

This mod will automatically switch the page displayed in a hotbar when a Swordmaster's Balance or a Black Orc's Plan changes. By default, the first hotbar is swapped as follows: No Plan / Normal Balance = Hotbar page 1 Good Plan / Improved Balance = Hotbar page 2 Best Plan / Perfect Balance = Hotbar page 3

Requirements

This mod requires the LibSlash mod by Aiiane, version 2.1 or later!

Usage

/planb
toggle the mod on or off
/planb hotbar=#
set the hotbar the mod will swap to # (1 through 4)
/planb pages=#,#,#
set the hotbar pages to use for each plan/balance state to # (1 through 5)
/planb pagemax=#
set the maximum number of pages you can scroll to on your hotbars
/planb settings
show the settings the mod is using, and whether it is compatible with your career
/planb silent
on/off toggle for chat window spam when the /planb command is used
/planb usage
see help on slash commands for PlanB

To toggle PlanB on and off in a macro, set the macro text to: /script slash("planb")

    To fix this mod, change all instances of "ChatWindow.Print" to "EA_ChatWindow.Print".

    I was able to get this working by editting the PlanB.lua file and removing each of the lines starting with "ChatWindow.Print"

    A decent temporary fix until Furious can update the mod. It looks like it was failing due to "ChatWindow" no longer being a valid object.

    I have been using PlanB since it was available on 9/9/08; however, after WAR patch 1.01 today the mod no longer works.  The hotbar pages will NOT change and the /planb command results in a ChatWindow error at line "43: attempt to index global 'ChatWindow' (a nil value)"
After failed attempts to get PlanB working, I downloaded and am now using PlanB v1.3 and LibSlash v2.1, with no luck.

    Try installing LibSlash. It is required for PlanB to work. I *think* have forgotten to do that before and had the "PlanB Loaded & Enabled" message come up and the mod still not work.

    So I installed this and it didn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

    I did get the "planB installed" message when I logged in.

    You can edit the PlanBSettings.lua file to select which hotbar you want to be affected by the mod. Currently, the mod only supports swapping for one of your hotbars.

    With multiple bars I am not seeing how I can restrain this action to certain ones. Is this possible?
