kongwu Sep 25, 2008 at 22:58 UTC - 0 likesJust a quick thought, would it be possible to some how tie a heal spell ( or buff or whatever since the spells somehow seem to have a built in range / los function ) to each square to determine if they are in range or not ( and use same functionality as the coloring in the actionbarcolor addon )?

In the regular party HUD anyone not in the zone is a blank portrait. Greying anyone that is not in zone would be helpful too when in open RvR.

Adaram Sep 23, 2008 at 18:33 UTC - 0 likesWhat a great addon! Thanks! You mentioned in the comments area that range detection is only possible if you actually select the target. Is it possible to "grey out" the square when an out of range target is selected? That way I'll know as soon as I select them, and can move on to the next target.
Thanks again for a life saving add-on for healers!

Aiiane Sep 20, 2008 at 11:29 UTC - 0 likesRange detection is not really viable due to limitations of the API at this time. I may be able to work in some helpful indicators, but they wouldn't be true range indicators, they'd only be indications of whether you had recently tried to cast and failed.
