What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
If a target is out of range it sticks on that person until you manually click on someone else while not casting (note this could be either Squared or HoverCast, which are both your mods soo ;) )
I frequently get Invalid Target on people even if they are standing next to me while casting (again, could be Squared or HoverCast). Targeting anything else and then back to them fixes it.

What version of the product are you using?
1.3 of Squared. 1.6 of HoverCast (according to the UI Mod settings window in game)

Not sure what else to mention, This happens to me repeatedly in scenarios. I'm playing a RP if it matters.
