4 - Support for Defended attacks
I'm digging the ability right now to simplify my combat, however it took me a while to figure out why sometimes I just saw constant streams of "0 damage" done to me, or to a target. I hope you can somehow add in some variables (perhaps $defend?) to handle block/parry/dodge/disrupt. I'm not sure how easy this would be. Could you let us specify a new format if a defended attack occurs?
For instance, currently my /tscc damagedealt format is:
Your [$ability] hits [$object] for [$crit$amount] ($mitigated mitigated)
Allow me to specify a /tscc damagedealtdefended or something that replaces that with the following, whenever something is defended:
$object [$defends] your [$ability].
Just an idea of sorts, unsure how you could handle this really as I have no idea about coding and such.. just trying to put words to my idea!
If possible, maybe just make these seperate channels entirely? Just display one or the other depending on the event. I'd actually like to have my personal defended events a different color than damage taken. But that really isn't important so long as they get shown one way or the other.
Sorry if I rambled a bit, thanks for everything so far!
